Angelo Cammarata
Angelo Cammarata was drafted into the US Navy during WWII and served as a cook on a troop transport in both the Pacific and Atlantic theaters. During the war, four Cammarata borthers all served at the same time.

In his 102nd year, Angelo H. Cammarata of Ross Twp., died on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. Husband of the late Marietta Cammarata; loving father of Charles Cammarata of Ohio Twp., Maryan (the late James) Cronin of Poland, OH, Frank (Susan) Cammarata of Ross Twp. and John (Marilyn) Cammarata of Ross Twp. Also survived by 16 grandchildren; great-grandfather of Angelo, Lucia, Sofia, Richard, and Josephine; brother of the late Alfred, Frances, Constance, Michael and Anthony.
Angelo was the owner of Cammarata’s Cafe for 77 years. He is in the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest serving bartender. He was honored at a Pittsburgh Steelers Game as the longest season ticket holder. A Naval veteran of WWII and a member of West View VFW Post 2754. Before moving to St. Teresa Parish, he was an active and longtime member of St. Athanasius Church in West View.
